GHK-Cu
Also known as Copper tripeptide-1
GHK is a tripeptide, glycyl-L-histidyl-L-lysine, that occurs naturally in human plasma, saliva and urine. It binds copper(II) ions tightly. GHK-Cu is the copper complex, which gives the powder its characteristic blue colour.

Research background
GHK-Cu has been studied since the 1970s in cell culture and animal models of skin and connective-tissue biology, including collagen and extracellular-matrix research.
It is also widely used in cosmetic ingredient research. As supplied here it is a laboratory reagent, not a cosmetic or a medicine.
Storage and handling
Supplied as a lyophilised (freeze-dried) powder in a sealed 4 ml vial. Keep it sealed until use. Storage: 2–8 °C, protect from light. Once reconstituted, solutions are usually kept refrigerated at 2–8 °C and used promptly. Follow your laboratory's own protocols and safety data.
Is GHK-Cu approved for human use?
No. GHK-Cu is sold by vialinepeptides strictly for in-vitro laboratory research. It is not a medicine, food or cosmetic and is not for human or veterinary use. Nothing on this page is medical advice.
